Overview
Why our home lifts range
A home lift should disappear into the architecture, not dominate it. Our villa elevators are built for tight shafts, shallow pits and low overhead — many installations need only a 150 mm pit and run entirely on a domestic 230V single-phase supply.
We handle retrofits into existing homes as readily as new builds, including stairwell-void installations with self-supporting steel structures where no masonry shaft exists.
Typical applications
- Independent villas and bungalows
- Duplex and triplex apartments
- Farmhouses and weekend homes
- Retrofits into existing stairwells

Features
What is inside the specification
The engineering decisions that make the difference between a lift that works and a lift that keeps working.
Self-supporting structure
Where there is no civil shaft, we install a bolted steel structure with glass or panel infill inside a stairwell void or on an external façade.
Designed for the home
Wooden-finish car walls, glass doors, slim COP designs and soft-close automatic doors sized for domestic openings from 600 mm.
Low running cost
Standby power management and LED lighting mean a home lift adds a negligible amount to a household electricity bill.
Safe for children and elders
Infrared door curtains, emergency battery lowering, intercom and an anti-trap door edge come as standard.
Questions
Home Lifts FAQs
Cannot find your question? Call us — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Do I need a machine room at home?
No. Home installations are machine-room-less — the gearless machine sits within the hoistway and the controller is housed in a slim cabinet beside the top landing door.
Can it be installed in a house that is already built?
Yes, this is a large part of our home-lift work. We survey the stairwell void or an external wall and install a self-supporting structure, so civil work is minimal.
