Overview
Why our passenger range
Our passenger elevators are the backbone of the Rudra range — built around high-efficiency gearless traction machines and an integrated drive-and-controller unit that keeps the machine room footprint (or the need for one) to a minimum.
Every car is engineered around your hoistway rather than the other way round. Capacities run from 4-person cabins for boutique buildings to 20-person cars for high-traffic commercial towers, with group control linking up to 8 elevators over a CAN network for genuinely intelligent dispatch.

Features
What is inside the specification
The engineering decisions that make the difference between a lift that works and a lift that keeps working.
Gearless traction drive
Permanent-magnet gearless machines from partners such as Torin Drive and Monarch deliver quiet, smooth rides with up to 40% lower energy consumption than geared equivalents.
Automatic Rescue Device
On a power failure the ARD moves the car to the nearest floor and opens the doors — standard, not an upsell. Supported even on single-phase 230V installations.
Fermator & Wittur door systems
Automatic centre- and side-opening doors with infrared curtain protection, door-lock short-circuit self-detection and smooth VVVF door drives.
Finish options
Hairline, mirror-etched and PVD stainless steel from JSL, powder-coated MS, glass panels and designer false ceilings with LED cove lighting.
Questions
Passenger FAQs
Cannot find your question? Call us — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.
What hoistway size do I need for a 6-passenger lift?
A 6P / 408 kg car with a 700 mm automatic door typically needs a 1600 mm × 1600 mm hoistway, with a 1100 mm × 1000 mm car. All dimensions can be customised to suit an existing shaft.
Can it run on single-phase power?
Yes. Our integrated controller supports single-phase 230V operation, including ARD emergency evacuation to the nearest floor — useful where three-phase supply is unreliable or unavailable.
How long does installation take?
A typical G+4 passenger lift takes 20–30 working days from hoistway handover, subject to civil readiness and site conditions.
